Ronke Babatunde is a 3rd year resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Calgary. I was born in Nigeria, moved to the Netherlands when I was 12, moved to Toronto when I was 17 and did my undergraduate degree in Neurosciences at the University of Toronto. I worked for a year and then went to medical school at the University of Alberta.
Woezo Africa Music & Dance Theatre is a dance company based in Calgary, Alberta. Woezo Africa means “welcome to the land of perfection.” They have been performing and teaching various forms of African dance styles for over 10 years. Woezo Africa was founded by Wunmi Idowu, who has been in the performing arts industry for over 20 years. Wunmi is dedicated to bringing the African culture to a wide audience through traditional and modern African modes of performing arts.
